People loathe fat people with self-respect.

And yet, oddly enough

People are always yelling at you

To get some self-respect.

The number of times

I’ve watched people’s eyes widen

Once they realize I am actually

Paying attention to what they are saying

Oftentimes people will insult me

Reflexively. I usually have to just

Ignore it as if it isn’t happening, because

If I dare say anything

About them harrassing me

I become the victimizer

Fat, greedy manipulator

Always figuring out how to get

More than they deserve.
