“I Don’t Care That You’re Trans”

Might as well be like saying

“I don’t see color”

Or

“I don’t care about gender”

like okay so you’re able to completely ignore how society interacts with itself

Because you’re focused on some other part of me that you hate

That definitely isn’t my trans identity

Or influenced by it in any way

Just that you assume I’m angry all the time

Ever since you found on I’m on hormones. Even though

I’m more calm than everyone.

I’m mad about that but if I dare say it out loud–

I’m an angry trans person and

“They don’t care that I’m trans” but it sure does make it

Easier for them.
