Isn’t It Time To Officially Reclaim Queer?
The LGBTQAI+ acronym is both
A monument to pride and history
And a focal point of misery
It comes across as a tangled mess
Of identities fighting for representation
When instead we could all just
Reclaim the name they gave us !
A universal word for the way they make us feel—
Queer. Neither here nor there.
