So, to be clear—

Gay men can be rude and sassy and mean

They get a free pass because… they were

… bullied?

And…

Lesbians are allowed to be angry,

They get a free pass because… well,

They were bullied?

How about the trans men in the group downtown

Who view masculinity

As simply

The ability to come down hard on someone—

They get a free pass because…

They are…?

And people of color

They are allowed to be upset

At the multitude of disrespects they receive

But

To be clear—

As a fat person

I am not allowed to be angry

Or upset, or bully anyone

Who bullies me actively

I assume this is because

They are “in the right”

And I am wrong, simply

For being the fat one.
