If you go to some strange man’s house

and he bribes you with drugs, sex, food, drink–

Whatever you like–

So you can fuck and suck and get home

At a reasonable time, all so that he can

Insult you, insult your body, insult your

Femininity, insult your job, insult your health

Insult your family–

Give you “tips” on how to be a better man

And it bothers you

That someone writes a poem on the internet

About how self-loathing and destructive this behavior is

Maybe you’re mad at yourself more than you are

Mad about it.
