Send Me Your “Prayers”

A lot of funny people say things like

“Christians are the worst– all they do is pray–

Praying does nothing. They just sit there and hope

And do nothing”

But it’s just not true…!

Especially where I live, Christians work as if

God is watching them, judging their idle hands

Preying and praying and often

Money is the answer to what they’ve been

Praying for, and money is what they put

Towards what they pray for the most.

Money is the prayer is the answer is the hope

Ya’ll be laughing while they saving, and wondering why

There are communities of people with self-contained businesses

Doing whatever they want with whoever they want however they like it

The common denominator is that they all

Grew up in the church, where people are “like minded”
