What About All The Other Types Of Discipline ?

People be like

“I care about health and fitness”

Then they repress all their feelings and

Don’t do anything creative and instead

Turn it all into numbers, spreadsheets

Cold hard facts, data and nutrients.

Which parts of your soul need dieting?

How much contempt could you lose today?

When’s the last time you treated someone

With the kindness you deserve?

What about all the other types of discipline on earth ?

When’s the last time you journaled ?

Not my fitness pal, but just

How you are?

Ain’t nobody got answers.
